Wild Acres Retreat Artist Residency

This fall Dana Hargrove was invited to attend the Wild Acres Retreat Artist Residency for two weeks. The residency retreat is set within 1,000 acres of wooded land on Pompey’s Knob in McDowell County, North Carolina, and offers artists a secluded log cabin to live and to create, along with three meals a day and a supportive creative community. Dana created several small paintings inspired by the surrounding forests that were slowly turning color with the onset of Autumn. Studio views can be seen below.
