Within this large series of small paintings (ranging from 6″x6″ to 16″x 16″ mixed media on panel) I make reference to the way we communicate and interact with each other in this digital age. Fractured space and time ensues as we fly from place to place to reconnect with family and friends or talk via the internet or cellular. This series uses references such as circuit boards, arial views, cartography and stratification to create a section of land that is connected via lifelines/vinyl tape.
